Reduction for 1 flute (doubles on piccolo), 1 oboe, 2 clarinets, 1 bassoon, 2 horns, 1 trumpet, timpani & percussion (combined part—1 or 2 players), guitar (optional), continuo (recitatives), and strings.

Includes Almaviva’s Act II aria “Cessa di più resistere.” Also includes transposed versions of “Un voca poco fa” (originally in E, also tranposed to F), “La calunnia è un venticello” (originally in D, also transposed to C), and “Contro un cor che accende amore” (originally in D, also transposed to F).

We also have a large-format full score (not reduced) of The Barber of Seville available for purchase, with our additional rehearsal marks and corrections, 9 x 12 inches, coil-bound, 3 volumes, 432 total pages, $210/set. (A reduced score is included with the rental of the reduction). Our rehearsal marks are based on those of the Ricordi edition, interpolated with additional marks where Ricordi’s are too far apart.
